How has CrossFit changed your life?
Aside from the obvious stuff like losing weight and improving my physique it has made me mentally stronger. I also think it has helped me become more comfortable talking to large groups of people.
What inspired you to become a coach?
Chris. The box was at a point where I could see there was a need for another coach and I wanted to help out.
What was your best coaching experience?
It has definitely been working with clients who come to us extremely limited in their mobility and restricted by weight that they can’t do one sit up. It is greatly rewarding to see them go from that point to being able to lift heavy weight, run, and so much more!
If you could give someone new to CrossFit some advice what would it be?
Just get up and do it, you would be surprised what you are truly capable of accomplishing.
If “you” were a WOD (ie “Justin”) what would it be?
1000 Burpees for time
What is your biggest goat and what are you doing about it?
Wall-balls and Thrusters. I try to pace myself when doing these movements, and work on my breathing.
What is your biggest goal and what are you doing about it?
To Maintain my Strength but at the same time build up a strong, long lasting endurance engine.
What is your favorite cheat meal?
What is your favorite movement?
Burpees, Bench Press and anything to do with chest and upper body.
What is your favorite outfit to WOD in?
Comfortable shorts that allow for movement and no shirt.
